Forth has had a Gala day since 1932 along similar lines to local gala days in the area.
A court of children are chosen from the local primary school also a Queen and Herald , there is a display of decorated floats and bands followed by a crowning of the Queen in the local park. The houses of the queen and court are decorated by the residents and judged and a cup given to the best . There also is a concert at night and a funfair is available, with entertainment on the day in question.
A brochure is printed every year and can be obtained locally or from the gala Committee
