Transport links are quite good with buses running to Lanark and Glasgow. However bus links to Livingston and the East are improving. The local shops are well supported, Forth has a Nursery and Primary School, Sports Centre, Library, Post Office and Bank. The local football team are Forth Wanderers, famous people from Forth include George Gracie who featured in the Guinness Book of Records as the Scotland's tallest man at 7 foot 3 inches ( 221 cm's) and weighed 32 stone (203kg) .
